Here we have a very nice silver pincushion and needle holder which is English and fully hallmarked. The pincushion itself is original, purple velvet, which, while showing wear on the top, is in very good shape for its age. It lifts up and has a place for storing needles. It has the original bottom, and it's hallmarks declare it to be British sterling, made in Birmingham, in the year, 1929. The piece is 1 and 7/8 of an inch tall, and the bottom is three inches in diameter. The top is dome shaped.
