This a lovely necklace, crafted of 18 carat gold (unmarked , but tested). It contains rose cut diamonds, natural pearls, and an emerald. It is on a gold chain which measures The chain is 17 inches long and marked 15 carat gold. It is most likely a later addition. The pendant itself is circa 1850. The diamonds are set in silver as they always were at that time, and the back of the silver part has a gold wash. The emerald is set I'm 18 carat gold, and the pearls are set the same. The entire necklace weighs 11.92 grams, and the pendant itself measures 2 and 1/4 inches long, including the longest dangling pearl, and 1 and 1/4 inch long. This peace is in very good condition. The emerald has some occlusions as they do, but no chips.
