I was attracted to this one immediately when I first saw it in the antique jewelry shop in Tumbridge Wells. I have seen emeralds like this and have one in my shop, but this is the first Ruby I have seen, round, surrounded by natural pearls, and set in a Victorian, Marquis shaped setting. The ring is set in 18 ct yellow gold, and it is a lady's size 5 1/2 to 6, but it could be sized. It all appears to be original, and the marquis shaped part of the ring measures 5/8 of an inch North to South, and a little over 1/4 inch East to West. What a beauty!
