This is a beautiful memorial sepia miniature . It features an urn, with the drooping weeping willow, fashioned from the hair of the deceased. On the urn are the initials "I B," or that's what it appears to be but in light of the fact that the deceased name is John, I would imagine the initials are to be "J B." The enameled shank is in perfect condition which is amazing for its two hundred plus years. It reads "John Bispham, ob 19th of Dec, 1777 aet 74. This ring is a small size; it is a lady's size 4. On most fingers, it would fit the little finger. It can't be sized, but a gold guard could be worn if it were a little large. The top measures 3/4 of an inch long, and a little over 1/2 an inch wide.
