What a lovely little heart shaped trinket box this is. It would be a nice accessory for any lady's dressing table. It would even serve as a nice box for a ring, or a pill box. Its hallmarks are fully visible, and they declare that this box is Sterling silver, minted in Birmingham, England, in the year, 1901. The box has a gold wash inside, as many of these items had. It measures a little over 1 inch and a half, North to South, 1 and 1/4 East to West, and 1/2 of an inch high. It weighs 18:58 grams, closes firmly, and is in excellent condition.
