This is a lovely, 3 piece, covered sauce with the underplate. It is clearly marked "Grimwades," "Athens," "Stoke-om-Trent." JoAnn has identified it as 1895-1900, and has added a note that "a small chip has been professionally restored." I can't find it. The underplate measures 8 inches East to West, and 6 inches North to South. The sauce boat itself, including handles, measures 8 and 1/8 inches East to West, and 4 and 1/8 inches North to South. Standing off the plate, it is 6 inches tall, including the lid.
