This is a nice, black leather, Church of England, Book of Common Prayer. It is an Oxford Edition ,and also contains the "Proper Lessons." It has brass trim, and the brass clasp. The pages are gilded, and present. The book is dated 1866, and is in excellent condition. There is a rubbed place on the spine, which sort of looks like somewhat pulled Scotch tape off the leather. A little bit of a magic marker, would take care of that though, or some Meltonian shoe polish, black. The prayer book measures 5 inches North to South, and 3 and 1/2 inches East to West.
