This is a beautiful, sterling silver frame, oval in shape, with the original back. It is in excellent condition, and still contains a delightful photo of what appears to be a WWWI soldier and his sweetheart. The hallmarks are present and visible, and declare the silver to be English Sterling, minted in Birmingham in the year 1900. The maker's mark is worn. The frame measures 4 and 1/4 inches North to South, and 3 and 1/8 inches East to West. The picture opening measures 3 and 1/4 inches North to South, and 2 and 1/8 inches East to West.
