This is a very interesting set of 4 volumes. They are Short Stories on Great Subjects, published in London, in 1891. They are by James Anthony Froyde, and there is a chapter entitled "The Book of Job," one entitled "The Dissolution of the Monasteries," etc. The books have brown leather spines and corners, and marbled paper boards with matching front and ends pieces, and the ends of the pages are also marbled. The books are in very good condition, and measure 7 and 1/4 inches North to South, 4 and 3/4 inches East to West, and are 1 inch thick.
