This is a very nice Georgian ring, circa 1820, consisting of chrysoberyl and rubies. It is unmarked but tested 18 carat gold, and size 8 and 1/2, but could be sized by someone used to working with antique jewelry. The ring weighs 2.20 grams, and is in very good condition. The stones are closed backed, and the top of the ring, containing the stones, measures 1/4 of an inch North to South, and 3/4 an inch East to West. This is a very nice peace, and a good example of rings of this period.
