This is a beautiful, Bohemian Garnet bracelet which is a little different from most garnet bangles that I have seen. It's a garnet bangle with a twist; literally. It features blood red garnets all the way around the bracelet, Then, where the two rows of garnets meet, there is a flower design of three, large and faceted, pear shaped garnets. This bracelet is silver gilt, with a safety chain and good, secure clasp. Closed the bracelet measures 7 and 1/4 inches around the oval. The petal design measures 1 inch East to West, and 7/8 of an inch North to South. It is in excellent condition, and is circa 1890.
