I love these wax portraits, and they are not easy to find at all any more. Several years ago I managed to find one for myself of Sir Walter Scott, and I have been looking for another of an author for about 10 years, but have not been successful. This one is of Napoleon. I really don't know how to date him exactly; I believe he is Victorian, circa 1850. He is in his original frame, placed on red velvet. The glass is bubbly, and also original. The framed piece measures 7 inches long and 6 wide. This is quite a find, as Napoleon pieces are very collectible and hard to come by.
