This is a Russian spoon, which I think the English would describe as a coffee spoon. It has lovely engraving on the spoon handle, the back of the handle, and the back of the bowl. I don't know Russian marks, but trust the English dealer from whom I bought this, and she said it was circa 1899. The marks are clear. One says what looks to me like 84,with The spoon measures 5 and 1/4 inches. The spoon is in excellent condition.
