This is a nice volume of Pickwick Papers, by Charles Dickens. It has leather spine and corners, with marbled paper front, back, ends of pages, and frontispiece and endspiece. The book is in very good condition, and it contains 43 illustrations by the famous Phiz. It was published in 1890, in London, by Chapman and Hall publishers. It measures 8 inches North to South, and 5 and 1/2 inches East to West. If you don't realize how expensive today's works in marbled paper are, go to Venice where you may pay upwards of $150 for a cardboard address book covered in modern marbled paper!
