This is a beautiful, full calf leather, volume of the work of the American poet, James Russell Lowell. The book is in excellent condition, with gilded pages, marbled fronts and ends pieces, a book place, etc. The book was published by Macmillan`` and Company in London in 1896. It measures 7 and 1/2 inches North to South, 5 inches East to West, and is 1 and 1/2 inches thick. The binding is wonderful, and the bookplate itself is a collector's item.
