This is a Victorian novel by Hawthorne, of "The Scarlet Letter," fame. It is bound with marble paper boards, and velum spine and corners. It is in very good condition, and it has marbled paper fronts and ends pieces, and red coloring on the edges of the pages. It was published in 1886, in London by George Bell and Sons. The volume measures 7 and 1/4 inches North to South, 4 and 3/4 inches East to West, and is 7/8 of an inch thick. The colors of the binding of this book are very vivid and beautiful.
