This is a lovely edition of Boswell's famed Life of Samuel Johnson. Of course, Johnson managed to publish a Dictionary of the English Language, and this endeavor has been called one of the greatest scholarly achievements in history. It has beautiful leather spine and corners and was published in London, in 1927, by Oxford University Press. It contains two volumes in 1, and is in excellent condition. The book measures 7 and 1/4 inches North to South, 5 inches East to West, and is 1 inch and 1/2 thick.
