This is one of the lovely little English prayer books with the Reynolds angels on the cover. This one is crafted of red morocco, with the front topped with the silver cover. The silver is fully hallmarked, and the hallmarks declare that the silver is British Sterling, minted in Chester, in the year 1903, by the makers JM. The book is in good condition, with all pages intact. You can see, from the photo of the spine of the book, that there is a slight lifting of the silver cover, but it is tight and secure, and one could correct that with a drop of crazy glue if one so desired. It only shows from the spine, and the silver is secure. The book measures 2 and 1/8 inches long, and 2 inches wide. These are so lovely to display, but don't make the mistake I did with mine and leave it where your dog can get it. I've had a few items destroyed by two different dogs, until I learned that the glue in books, leather bottoms of jewelry boxes, etc, contained the old glue which was made from cow bones. Apparently that smell is still very strong to a dog. Believe me, I've had that lesson reinforced the hard way, several times, LOL. Anyway, this is a lovely little prayer book.
