This is a beautiful pink lustre dessert or berry bowl. It has a lovely image of Robert Burns, the national poet of Scotland, and Robbie is surrounded by thistle. There are no marks on the bowl, and it is in excellent condition except for one very small hairline, quite tight, which I did not even see until I took the photo with a macro lens. It does not detract, and indeed, is barely noticeable. The bowl measures almost 5 and 1/2 inches in diameter, and is circa 1840-1850. Here is the chance to get a lovely, early piece without having to break the bank!
