I have had swivel bloodstone watch fobs like this one before, but I have never had one quite this large. It is unmarked, but tested, 9 k gold, with a nice bloodstone on one side, and a carnelian on the other. The fob is circa 1890, and measures 1 and 1/2 inches North to South, counting the bale. The stone itself measures 3/4 of an inch North to South, and 1 inch East to West. This would be perfect for a gentleman's watch chain, or a lady's bracelet or necklace. It would also be wonderful for the person with the March birthday, as bloodstone is the old fashioned birthstone for March.
