This is one of the lovely little hair pictures comprised of a large "curl." I've had a few of them before. This one is in perfect condition, with a "hair" ribbon, holding the curl. The curved, or bubble glass is still in place (I think that's convex?), and the black frame is original. The piece measures 5 inches North to South, and 4 and 1/2 inches East to West. It is circa 1870.
