Garnet and Rose Cut Diamond Ring, Victorian - image 1 of 6

This is a very impressive garnet and rose cut diamond ring, circa 1850. The setting is quite large, and sure to be noticed. It has a nice, thick, chased shank, and the setting is 18 carat, unmarked but tested, The garnet itself measures 5/8 of an inch North to South, and the entire jeweled top of the ring measures 3/4 of an inch North to South, and the same East to West. The ring is a size 7 and 1/2. The rose cut diamonds are set in silver.
