This is a very nice morocco bound volume of the poetry of Sir Walter Scott. It has gold tooling throughout, and it contains several engravings. The book has gilded pages, and it is in quite good shape for its age. The binding and pages are tight and secure; there is some rubbing to the leather in places, which is typical of a book this age. This volume was published in in Edinburgh in the year 1851 by the publishers Adam and Charles Black, North Bridge. This book measures 7 and 1/2 inches North to South, 5 inches East to West, and is 1 and 1/2 inch thick. They truly do not make books like this anymore; these old leather volumes are a work of art.
