These are beautiful, rose cut, diamond earrings, circa 1800. The diamonds are closed backed and set in silver, as they always were, and the back has a gold wash. Both earrings weigh 7.42 grams. They measure 1 and 1/2 inches North to South, from the point where the wire is in front, to the bottom. Each earring is 1/2 each East to West at its widest point. Each earrings contains 14 rose cut diamonds, if I have not miscounted.
