This is a unique piece. I've not seen one quite like it. It's unmarked, but tested, 9 carat gold frame, holding two pieces of glass. One can twist the bale, remove a little pin, and the frame opens, and one can place their desired photo, locket of hair, or whatever, and then reposition the glass, and screw the bale back. It measures 1 and 3/4 inches North to South (counting bale), and 1 inch East to West. It weighs 7.76 grams. This is a very useful piece, because I often have customers wanting something like this, but not wanting to remove a portrait miniature etc. It is circa 1890.
Gender: Unisex, Age Group: Adult, Color: gold, Size: 1 and 3/4 inches long
