This ring is very much in the style of the so called "body" rings, but this one doesn't have the body! It has the skull, and leaves etc. It is unmarked, but tested 18 carat, and the enamel is in quite good shape for a circa 1720 ring. The ring is a size 7 and 1/2 and it can not be sized. Most of the enamel is still present; there is a partial loss of enamel in one eye of the skull. The ring weighs 5.18 grams, and measures about 1/4 of an inch wide.
