What a lovely little Victorian hair brooch this is. It is gold filled, not gold, but it has the most beautiful enamel work on the front. This little piece is circa 1850, and in all original condition. It measures 1 inch and 1/2 East to West, and almost an inch and 1/4 North to South. These brooches are so nice at the neck of a blouse, or worn on the label of a blazer. Note: I just tested this piece with my new digital gold tester, and was told by the instructions that a reading of 450 means not gold. This piece tested at 441, so it is close!
