This is quite an impressive looking ring. There's quite a lot of gem power here. The stones are foiled and closed backed, and the diamonds are set in silver as they were in about 1880 when this ring was new. It is a size 8 and 1/2, though it could be sized by someone who is used to working with antique jewelry. The ring is curved to fit the finger, and I think there is some sort of hallmark on the band, but I really can't make it out. The top portion of the ring measures an impressive 1 and 1/4 inches long, and 3/4 of an inch wide. It weighs 8.01 grams. This one is sure to catch the eye.
