This lovely Victorian Memorial ring is cast in 18 ct gold. It features lovely black enameling, small rose cut diamonds, and a natural pearl. The ring has nice black enameled shoulders, and nice hair work in the back. The ring is missing the glass locket back, but the hair work is recessed and in good condition. I will have the glass cut for the back next time I am in London, but it is fine without it, as nothing touches the hair work. The ring is a size 6 and 3/4, and it could be sized by someone used to working with antique jewelry. It weighs #.03 grams, and the top of the ring measures 3/8 of an inch North to South, and 1/2 inch East to West. The ring is fully hallmarked, and the marks declare that this ring is 18 ct gold, mined in Birmingham England, in the year 1869. The ring is in very good condition, save for the missing glass in the back of the ring which was mentioned above.
