What an absolutely gorgeous and unusual piece this is. It's French, and 18 carat. I've seen lots of silver, or silver and gold French Heart Pendants, but I've never seen anything like this piece. It's obviously a love token. We have the crossed arrows, the heart shaped locket, and the forget-me-not. The gold work on this unique piece is stunning. It measures 2 inches North to South, including bale, and 1 and 1/4 inches East to West. The heart opens where a treasure could be placed. The Pendant is circa 1800, and weighs 6.59 grams. It is in wonderful condition for it's 212 years!
