These are gorgeous, feminine rose cut diamond earrings. They are circa 1850. The diamonds are set in silver, close backed, and foiled. I fell in love with them when I first saw them n 2012. I kept them for myself, even though I had a lovely pair of Georgian diamond earrings that I could not stand to give up. I 've worn these with a lovely garnet and diamond pendant, and then an awesome ruby and diamond pendant, all with the bow motif which I love. On my last trip to London, I bought yet another pair, with the bow motif, and a flower, which I must keep. Needless to say, I can't afford to keep them all, so I am offering these for sale, reluctantly. They measure 1 and 3/4 inches long, and about 1/4 of an inch at the widest point. They weigh 6.4 grams, and are in excellent condition. The wires are 14 carat gold, unmarked, but tested. These are so pretty, with a lot of sparkle.
