This is a very nice, silver posey holder, which is Edwardian. It is fully hallmarked, and the marks declare that this piece is English sterling silver, minted in Birmingham in the year 1913. One of the nicest thing about this tussle mussie is the fact that it still retains its internal flower holder, with the grill and holder for water, which can be removed. This is the only one of these popular items I've ever seen that still has this piece. The posey holder measures 5 and 1/4 inches tall, and it weighs 2.2 ounces. It is in very good condition.
