What an amazing piece this one is. I have never seen a watch Fob/seal like this one. There are six panels, all covered with glass, with lockets of hair inside. This makes up the side of the Fob. This piece is 15 ct gold. the seal is an amethyst, , with two initials in the center. I am in London at this posting and do not have any clay to find out exactly what these letters are. I'll have to do that at home, but it is obviously a family name, and three first names of family members. Around each panel with hair are initials, and they are "AGO," "MO," "DAO," "MFO," "GAO," and "EMO." What a one of a kind piece. The fob measures 1 and 1/2 inches tall, and the seal itself measures 5/8 of an inch across. I think this is a sentimental piece rather than a mourning one. It was probably a Father's watchfob, with hair of his children and wife.
