Here we have some of the lovely needlework items common in Britain in the 30's. There are all sort of dresser items to be found--brushes, combs, etc. This is a nice jewelry or trinket box with a pair of candlesticks, all with matching embroidery. The needlwork on these pieces is in excellent shape with only a small amount of brown circling under the plastic covering the satin on the box. The box sits on little brass feet, and measures 6 inches East to West, 4 and 1/4 inches North to South, and is 2 and 1/8 inches deep. The candlesticks are 3 and 1/2 inches in diameter, and 2 and 1/2 inches tall. These pieces are circa 1935.
