I titled this with the generic "ethnic" because, while it appears Native American, I don't believe that it is. My best guess is Cambodian. Possibly Karen Hills Tribe.
A sweet piece of handmade sterling craftsmanship, this dragonfly has everything a dragonfly needs—eyes, the suggestion of a smile, wonderful hand-stampings on its wings and body, and six legs, which is the right number, evidently. Who knew? I can't say as I've ever counted dragonfly's legs, which are usually tucked beneath it.
I'm a fool for aboriginal jewelry, and hope you find this little creature as charming as I do.
Judging from its deep patina, left well alone because I feel it enhances the tribal quality of the piece, I'd say this critter has flown many miles in its life so far. And still ready to be airborne, only to alight on your shoulder...
