This great little open salt cellar features two carved onyx bowls that sit on a neo-classical style holder. The base for these salts features a finial of Verrocchio's Putto with Dolphin and has a silver base marked .800 and has an Italian silver hallmark, the rings are supported by small putti figures.

The salt measures 2 5/8 Inches (6.7 cm) tall and 5 1/8 Inches (13.1 cm).
