This small Bronze of an African boy, probably Moorish or Moroccan, is done in the style that was popular in Vienna Austria and are most often attributed to Bergman. This bronze features a well modeled boy holding a bronze and ormolu gilt bowl, probably for knick knacks or to be used as an ashtray. The boy has some parcel gilding on his pants and his hat as well as earrings. The bronze is unsigned by Bergman which is typical.
The bronze measures 3 1/8 Inches (8.0 cm) tall and 4 1/8 Inches (10.5 cm) wide.
