This is is a bold and bright 1980s Etruscan Revival chain collar necklace and earrings demiparure by London jewellery designer Sardi (signed on the necklace end link and on the earrings). The set is 22 carat gold plated, with a heavy, substantial feel to it. The chain is made of rectangular segments with contrasting polished borders and textured 'hammered metal centres, matched by the earrings.
The necklace measures just over 16 inches (40 cm) in length and is .5 in (12 mm) wide. it fastens with a secure fold over clasp. The earrings measure 1 x .75 inches (28 mm high) and have secure and comfortable clip on fastenings. The plating is well preserved apart from a couple of nibbles on the reverse near the clasp - quite common with this type of jewellery, and not visible whilst wearing the necklace (pictured, and priced accordingly).
