This is a rare and unusual American Art Deco watch chain bracelet (it can be worn both as a watch chain and as a bracelet) made of rose gold filled fancy chain, with a USA Half Eagle Five Dollar replica coin fob - the original coins were made of gold! The fob is a gilt copper replica of a 1925 coin decorated with the US Eagle and inscriptions: 'E Pluribus Unum', In God We Trust, United States of America and Five Dollars on one side, and the beautifully detailed head of a Native American brave on the reverse. The eagle side of the coin is quite weathered, as is some of the brass chain and the bolt clasp - but this adds charm and authenticity. The bracelet is 7.5 inches long including the clasps. The fastenings are a large brass bolt (spring ring) clasp and an Albert fob (dog clip) one. In good working order and ready to wear.
