This is a handsome pair of Victorian Aesthetic Era earrings made of sterling silver (tested but not hallmarked). They have a 1.25 inch drop (3.3 cm) and weigh 2 grams (they are 'puffy' (hollow) but have a well made, substantial feel. The faces are 2 cm high, richly decorated with a leaf etching in raised relief inside a rope oval edged by a border of sunburst rays. The ear wires are well made and exceptionally comfortable. The earrings come boxed in the vintage box pictured in the photos. In excellent condition and ready to wear. Distinguished, flattering and easy to wear!
