This is a stunning Edwardian era brooch. It is a beautiful pink shell cameo of a woman in profile. She is wearing a toga and has leaves entwined in her hair. She represents a female follower Dionysus who were known for their drunken ecstatic rites.

This hand carved piece is a rich deep pink shell a 10K gold frame with intricate decorative etching.
