A novelty plate By Gillander and Sons called "PLUCK". This scene shows a dog pulling a wagon with children in it & chasing a rabbit. The plates were made by Gillinder and according to the Early American Pattern Glass Society were made in the 1880s. The scene was copied from lithographs by Archibald Willard who painted the "Spirit of America".

Size: 10-3/8"
Condition: Excellent antique condition with minor scratching consistent with age and use.
