This is a beautiful, clean early Cauldon Potteries plate that would make a stunning addition to a Staffordshire collection. Bates, Brown-Westhead & Moore took over the company from 1862-1904 and the mark was simply CAULDON or CAULDON ENGLAND after 1890. New ownership ensued from 1905-1920 and the mark changed to Cauldon Ltd. This dates this piece to the late Victorian, early Edwardian era, 1890-1905.
Beautifully hand-painted plate measuring 10-3/8" in diameter.
Condition: Excellent with a few very light scratches and some very light wear on the Gold rim. (See Photos).
