ABP Libbey Harvard Pattern Goblet or Wine Stem - American Brilliant Period.
An exceptional Wine Goblet cut in Libbey’s Harvard design and appearing in catalogs as early as 1894. Harvard is characterized with deep cutting and wood wheel polishing. Motifs include Fans and strawberry diamonds adjacent to fields of cross hatching framed by deep miters. The stems are apple core.

Libbey earned prestigious awards for glass cutting excellence at the 1893 World’s Fair and two other important 1893 expositions in San Francisco and Atlanta. Advertising itself as America’s Oldest Glassmaker, it began as the New England Glass Company in 1818. The company changed its name to Libbey Glass Company in 1892 and continued operations in Toledo OH.
