Josef Pravec (ceramicist/glass worker/potter; Czech; Male; 1928)
Glass maker and designer. Studied at the glass school at Novy Bor from 1945-8, then at the Academy of Applied Art in Prague under Karel Štipl from 1949-55. Joined Bohemia Glassworks in 1951, and in the 1970s designed glass for other factories in the Bohemia Glassworks National Corporation.
