This very attractive Light Blue Ironstone Pitcher measures 9" tall from base to spout. 10" tall to top of handle with a 4 1/4" diameter base. Notice the lovely twig twist handle. Heavy relief work covers the pitcher. Around the neck and base are clusters of grapes on vines. Under the spout down the front is a tree, and each side shows three cherubim in the vineyard. The pitcher is unmarked, but does show age. There is one very hard to see stable line crack on the left side rim near the spout. Also, there is a slice chip on the underneath rim ( cannot be seen from the front ). The glaze is shiney with no crazing. Clean inside. This pitcher would display well and would be fun to use to serve table wine. Or put it to use as a vase for flowers.
