Lots of Roses! This large Tureen is encircled on both the lid and the body with a pattern of lovely open roses. It measures 14 1/2" ( handle to handle ) and 8 1/2" across. The lid is scalloped and has a ladle opening. The bottom is 4" deep, nicely scalloped rim, and sturdy handles. There is a 1/2" rim chip and hairline cracks on one side of the dish. The crack is is hardly visible from the outside. No crazing which is unusual for the age of this item. This Tureen would be worth a lot more without the flaws. Made by Kneeling and Co. Late Mayers, Burslem, Staffordshire Potteries circa 1903 Registry No. 402155. If you need a display Flow Blue Tureen, this is a beauty at a good price.
