Here's a nice set of hard to find Apostles Spoons with Sugar Tongs. Apostle Spoon Sets were first made in mid 17th century in sets of twelve representing the Apostles with a larger "Master Spoon" depicting Christ. Of course, these are a much later version with the robed apostle decorating the end of the spoon stem. These are gilt nickle plate(the nickle gives these spoons a gold hue) Sheffield from C.Dawson, 35 Inegate, Bradford, England. The spoon measures 4 1/2" long. Sugar Tongs are 4" long. They are in good condition. No dents or scratches. They come in a silk lined storage box with a pretty metal working clasp. Box measurements are 8 1/2" x 5 3/4".
