This Victorian Wooden Box is still very attractive on the outside, but the inside needs a bit of work. The box measures 10" x 7" x 4". The front and top have the inlaid Mother of Pearl circles, eight in all. Plus a Mother of Pearl rectangle in the top center. There is a key hole, but no key. The wood is in very good condition except for a slice missing on the top right hand corner. The box has pretty wood grain. The inside needs help. It shows wear and tear. The lid has a pull down compartment. The hinges are original and solid. They work well. This box is a good example of the type use in the late 1800's. It is priced to sell as is. Use for jewelry, letters, sewing items. remote controls, or whatever you wish.
