In 1933, Jewel Tea hired Hall China Co. of East Liverpool, Ohio to manufacture a line of china to be used as customer premiums. The result was the now collectible "Autumn Leaf" pattern which was made until 1976. The bowls are cream with a decoration of autumn leaves and foliage colored yellow, peach, and rust. Millions of pieces were given to customers over the years. I have found a set of three nesting bowls in very good condition no chips or cracks. The gold is a bit worn around the larger and smaller bowl. The bottom is marked in gold; Hall's Superior, Tested and Approved by Mary Dunbar Jewel Home Maker Institute Quality Kitchenware. This is a good opportunity to get all three bowls together at one time!
